The Lenovo ThinkPad X220 Tablet is a PC designed for comfortable use both indoors and outdoors. This is an expansion of the Lenovo ThinkPad X210, with a larger 12.5 inch screen that uses multi-touch sensor technology to enable touch-screen interface without needing a selector pen. A wider variety of Intel Core processors is now available as well, up to the Intel Core i7-2620M, and the system can... Top

Lenovo ThinkPad X220T Intel I7 model 429637U
Strengths: VERY lightweight, brilliant multi-angle view multitouch LED LCD, powerful i7, uBase w/DVDR, great keyboard, good battery life, nice software compliment, well thought out design & implementation.
Weakness: LCD is small and narrow in portrait, system is fast but Win7 sometimes slows things down, W7 a bit clunky with multitouch, stylus accuracy not perfect but decent with only a slight lag.
The NB is light enough to hold safely in one hand, won't fatigue you in long airport walkways, or holding with one hand and scribbling with the other. Inputs are very nice, touch, stylus, trackpoint and touchpad, and you can always add a mouse, all even work together. Touchpad is a lot better than I expected having a dot grid and tougher harder surface than most, the moving click of the pad is new but works well as does double touch. If you are used to a touchpad, this implementation is great and its quite large. Multitouch LCD is not quite an iPad, but for a W7 PC it really comes close and is very natural and easy to use. Screen is small at 12" for a widescreen, and very narrow in portrait, but its sharp and bright and views well at angles (this one didn't have Gorilla glass). Stylus is a bit less accurate at edges but nothing ridiculous, if you lift pen too high you palm will be read so that takes some getting used to. LCD has no 'ledge' at the frame, all flat. One direction swivel is a complaint to some, but seems safer to wire harness and no problem for me at all (my Toshiba M200 was the same). Compared the LCD to the M200 (which actually has higher resolution), and the X220T was much brighter, sharper and had better color. Stylus far more responsive too. System is fast and runs things crisply, shows movies & graphics very well. System included 4Gb ram and what a surprise, that is in ONE dimm so you can add a second one without losing your investment in memory. First time I've seen a company show this kind of thoughtfulness. Nice. I got a REAL deal in an open box unit (was only one listed), and it was PERFECT, no marks, no bad pixels, brand new battery, nothing missing. Got it in a few short days with regular shipping, and I could sell it on eBay tomorrow and likely make money, so there was no risk in the open box deal. Very happy with the unit and with Provantage. I've gotten great deals from them over the years and they are rock solid & reliable. There is a similar unit for less that has the same configuration with MS Office but no base, but as an open box this was a better deal and the base gives you a quick place to connect & charge battery, along with a DVD to load software & content. This is by far the best notebook I've had much less tablet PC, having over the years used Toshiba, Sony, Fujitsu, HP & Dells, but the light weight and multi-capability, draw, handwriting, display at conference, mike & camera, well this thing does it all and well, plus it has i7 power under 4 pounds. Hard to beat. Haven't figured how to get to bluetooth yet, but specs say its there.
