Careful- little support from SeagateStrengths: Quiet - lots of space Weakness: If you by this for certain model Thinkpads it may not work. Little support from Seagate, may not be compatible with newest Intel chipsets It returns an error code of 2010 saying the drive needs a firmware update. I got it from Lenovo - it did not work and Seagate is clueless

My 3rd drive has just gone bad, just clicks. Each drive lasted 4 months. Enough. I don't care if it's in warranty. I hope a Hitachi drive will do better.
